Background information:
Ferguson TE20 was an agricultural tractor of British production from the post-war period. Series production took place in the years 1946-1956. The tractor was powered by several power sources, but the most common for this purpose was a 1.8-liter gasoline engine and a 2-liter gasoline-paraffin engine.
The TE20 was developed by Hnery Ferguson and was mainly produced by the Ferguson Company. The new tractor was developed from the Massem Ferguson 35 vehicle, but had many innovations and proved to be one of the most popular and important tractors produced after 1945. First of all, it was characterized by a relatively simple structure, light weight and small size. It was also a very stable and manoeuvrable tractor, both on the road and during field work. It was also relatively cheap to produce and use. More than 500,000 copies of this vehicle were manufactured at the Ferguson Company plant, most of which (more than 65% of production) was exported: to the countries of continental Europe, as well as to the countries of the British Commonwealth. The Ferguson TE20 is believed to have played an important role in the mechanization of agriculture in many countries
